Steven Spielberg, born December 18th 1946 is an American film writer and director. In a career of over 40 decades, his films are of many genres, he is best known for his thrillers. His best known thriller is Schindler's list (1993)

Spielberg won the Academy Award for Best Director for:
-Schindler's list (1993)
-Saving Private Ryan (1998)

Three of Spielberg's films:
-Jaws (1975)
-E.T. (1982)
-Jurassic Park (1993)

All achieved box office records, each becoming the highest-grossing films made at the time. To date the gross of all Spielberg's films, exceeds $8.5 billion worldwide. Forbes puts Spielberg's wealth at $3.3 billion.
