Carrie (1976)
Carrie (1976) is a supernatural American Horror/Psychological thriller. It was directed by Brian De Palma and stars Sissy Spacek. Carrie (sissy) is a 17 year old shy, friendless girl, abused by her unstable mother Margaret, who is a religious fanatic.
As Carrie is socially inept and frequently deluded to society and her surroundings, she gets bullied and teased by the 'popular kids' in her school. What they don't know though is that Carrie, when angry is an extremely dangerous character, this is being she is telepathic. Our first clue of this is when she is screaming and crying, a light bulb in the shower she is in breaks.
As the film progresses Carrie get bullied more and more and eventually gets to a breaking point in which she is in a prom and gets pigs blood poured over her head, she ends up killing everybody in the prom room, regardless of their innocent status.
