Psycho is an American suspense horror movie, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. It is thought of by many as the greatest thriller of all time. This is simply because of the stunning way Hitchcock creates suspense with the simple use of sound and scenery. Including one of the most famous movie scene in the history of film.

The shower scene in which Janet Leigh's character is murdered took 6 days to shoot and was the pivotal moment in this film towards making it the success it now is. It features 77 different camera angles and the majority of the shots are extreme close-ups and a few mid-shots in the shower directly before and after the murder.
